Shopping for your wedding dress is a big deal but let's leave the extra baggage and stress at home. Each brides experience finding a wedding dress is different and unique. So don't feel like you are doing it wrong if the experience is not the same as everyone else's! Here at Meadowbrooke Bridal we do our best to make your experience a joy, just as it should be.

So with that being said, let's jump into some Myth Busters.
1) You will cry when you find the one.
So the waterworks don't come the second you put on a dress you love. THATS OK. Your dress experience is not a one size fits all. You may not even be sure that the dress you love is the one. There is misinformation out in the wedding industry that there is this overwhelming feeling that comes with finding your dream dress but that may not be the case for everyone.
2) Everyone else needs to like THE dress.
Not exactly. The only person that matters is you. What you like. What you love. Everyone has different tastes but it is your big day!
While you hope that everyone loves what you choose and are just as excited as you, that may not always be the case.
3) A Wedding dress must be white/ivory.
It's 2021, almost 2022. While we love a classic white wedding dress, there are now so many more options to choose from. Choose what fits you! Black, yes. Floral, yes!

I liked reading about the wedding dress shopping myths because many people feel nervous before choosing such an important dress. The article explained things in a calm and realistic way, which makes the process seem less stressful and more enjoyable. As a student, I also deal with pressure during busy weeks, especially with career preparation, so I once used some marketing exam help while balancing classes and other deadlines. Feeling supported can make hard decisions much easier.
