Some brides want to get the dress first. The dress can help set the tone for the rest of the wedding, venue, bridesmaids, groom, florals. Some brides want to have all of that planned first and then choose their wedding dress. There is no right or wrong way. There is just making sure you have enough time for your dress to come in and have alteration done before your big day!
On average most wedding gowns take 4 to 6 months to arrive in our shop. Once the dress does arrive, we recommend planning for another 2 to 3 months for alterations.
